About Us
CORE BELEIFS
GOD
Kingdom Talk believes in God. We believe that there is only one God, the omnipresent Creator who is the source of all life, and that He is Holy, Sovereign, Eternal, and existing in three equal personalities.
HOLY SPIRIT
Kingdom Talk believes in the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Being with a key personality who convicts people of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Also, He lives inside every believer to transform, seal, guide, and guide Christians. We also are to recognize and make the best use of His gifts, He is to make Jesus Christ accessible in us.
GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Kingdom Talk believes in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also gives special abilities to disciples of Jesus, called the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ. These divine abilities are granted to followers of Jesus to accomplish what God has called them to do. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. The purpose of the spiritual gifts is to edify (build up), exhort (encourage), and comfort the church.
THE CHURCH
Kingdom Talk believes in the Church. We proclaim, presverve, & display the gospel, as Jesus instructed to spread gospel to all nations. Paul refers to the church as a pillar and buttress of the truth. Paul says that the church makes God's wisdom known to the heavenly authorities. We strive to make disciples, Jesus commissioned his disciples to disciple people in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey his commands. We come together to worship the Lord.
JESUS
Kingdom Talk believes in Jesus. We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ took on the form of a man when being born of a virgin, living a pure life, dying to a death to save all humanity, later than resurrecting gloriously from the dead, and thus becoming a peacemaker. We await His coming soon and believe that because He has all authority and power, He has the right to all judgment.
THE BIBLE
Kingdom Talk believes in the Bible. The Bible is divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God. God makes clear in the Bible that He is holy and that He longs for a covenantal relationship with His children. The Bible describes God's purpose to bring all people to Himself through Jesus Christ and is the most in-depth and trustworthy guide for living a life of goodness.
SALVATION
Kingdom Talk believes in Salvation. We all become sinners, and as such, we are separated off from Merciful Lord. But because of Christ's atoning work, we are now at relationship with God; as a result, we confess Jesus as Lord before others, turn from our previous sins, and obey him by being baptized (immersed), rising from water, we are created new, & we are ready to serve and obey our purpose that God has given to each of us as we grow into a becoming a disciple of Christ.
BAPTISM
Kingdom Talk believes in Baptism. Baptism is a ceremony that involves immersing, dunking, or submerging a person in water. It is also a statement that a person has trusted Christ for salvation and is committed to living for Him. Water baptism is an act of faith and obedience to the commands of Christ. Baptism is a symbol of Christ’s burial and resurrection. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross, His burial in the tomb and His resurrection from the dead.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a process of receiving God's power and presence, and responding daily to what God has made available for service and relationship with Him. The purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to empower believers for service, witness, spiritual warfare, and boldness in their testimonies.
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Kingdom Talk believes in the Second Coming of Christ. Believers look toward the second coming of Jesus Christ as an affirmation that God is in charge of everything and that He keeps the promises and prophecies found in His Word. As anticipated, Jesus Christ made His earthly appearance as a baby lying in a manger in Bethlehem. Many of the Messiah's prophesies were realized in Jesus' birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection. But Jesus has not yet fulfilled all of the prophesies surrounding the Messiah. Christ's second coming will involve his return to fulfill the last few prophesies. Jesus was the Suffering Servant at the time of His first arrival. Jesus will be the victorious King in the second coming.
